Compensation process for victims of Kozhikode plane crash complete: Aviation Minister.

The families of those killed in the Kozhikode plane crash have been given their compensation. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri gave this information on Tuesday.

He said, ‘Air India Express has completed the process of paying compensation to the families of the passengers who died in the Kozhikode plane crash. The total compensation amount of 4.25 crores has been paid.

In the first week of August last month, an Air India Express aircraft carrying an Indian stranded in the Gulf under the Vande Bharat Abhiyan fell into an accident at Kozhikode Airport in Kerala.

The runway was flooded due to heavy rains and the aircraft slipped into a ditch about 50 feet deep at the time of landing. At that time, the Ministry of Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri ordered the Kozhikode plane crash.
