Order for magisterial inquiry into Hyderpora Encounter, Lieutenant Governor said – no injustice will be done to anyone.

Before the Hyderpora encounter took a political turn, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered a magisterial inquiry to bring out the truth of the entire incident.

Giving this information on his official Twitter handle, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that the investigation of the Hyderpora encounter has been handed over to an officer of the rank of ADM.

The government will take appropriate action as soon as the report comes out.

In this order, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also assured the people that the government is committed to protecting the citizens.

The killing of an innocent will not be tolerated. The government will try its best that injustice should not be done to anyone.

He said that the ADM officer will soon start the investigation process on this. After investigating the whole matter, when he will present his report, the next action will be taken accordingly.

Let us tell you that on Tuesday evening, two terrorists and their two assistants were killed by security forces in an encounter at Hyderpora located on the Srinagar National Highway.

Although the people whom the police are describing as helpful, the relatives of the dead were protesting against it and repeatedly demanding an inquiry into the matter.

The family members of the owner of the house, Altaf, and tenant Dr. Mudassar Gul where the terrorists were hiding have been staging a sit-in outside Press Enclave Srinagar since the encounter.

They are demanding justice and the bodies of their families. Altaf’s family members say that he was a cement trader and not a terrorist.

On the other hand, the family members of Dr. Mudassar are also adamant that their son was not associated with any terrorist organization, he was a dental surgeon.

On the other hand, according to IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, one of the two terrorists killed in the Hyderpora encounter was a Pakistani while the other was a resident of Banihal, Mohammad Amir.

Two others, Mohammad Altaf Bhat and Mudassir Gul, who was killed in the encounter, were aides of the terrorists. He had given shelter to the terrorists in his house.

Mudassar had rented three rooms on Altaf’s upper floor, where he ran a call center. It was through this call center that terrorists used to contact their masters sitting in other countries.

Order for magisterial inquiry into Hyderpora Encounter: Police have also recovered arms, mobiles, and laptop computers from thereafter the encounter.

The same evidence has also been found in other countries including Pakistan for contact through the Internet.

However, a sit has also been constituted under the leadership of DIG to investigate these pieces of evidence.
