Pace of corona infection slows down, 3.29 lakh new infections have been identified in the last 24 hours.

The Union Health Ministry on Tuesday morning released the data of newly infected people in the country during the last 24 hours.

Accordingly, 3,29,942 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the country in the last 24 hours and 3876 infected people died. The ministry said that 3,56,082 infected healthy were discharged from the hospital during this period.

At the same time, 25,03,756 vaccines of coronavirus were applied to people during this period.

After this, the total number of infected people in the country so far has risen to 2,29,92,517 and the total number of deaths has reached 2,49,992.

Under the vaccination campaign started on January 16, the total vaccination figure in the country so far has been 17,27,10,066.

At the same time, the total number of people recovering from infection has increased to 1,90,27,304 and the total number of active cases in the country is 37,15,221.

According to the information given by the ICMR, a total of 30,56,00,187 sample tests have been done for the Coronavirus in the country till Monday, out of which 18,50,110 samples were tested yesterday.

Let us know that in this month, more than 4 lakh infection cases have been reported in four days so far, but since then the pace of statistics of new cases seems to be slowing down.

On April 21, the infection figure had crossed 3 lakhs and within a mere ten days, on May 1, about 1 lakh cases had increased.

After this, on 23 August, 30 lakhs, on 5 September 40 lakhs and on 16 September had crossed the figure of 50 lakhs.

Last year, 28 lakh cases of Covid-19 on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 November, one crore on 19 December and more than 1.5 crore cases of Covid-19 on 19 April.
