Pakistani trying to infiltrate in Firozpur border was killed by BSF.

A Pakistani infiltrator has been gunned down along the International Border in Punjab’s Ferozepur district.

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel noticed some suspicious movement on the intervening night of February 2 and 3, after which they challenged the intruder but he did not stop.

Sensing the danger, BSF personnel opened fire, killing the unidentified intruder on the spot. A search operation is being conducted by BSF personnel.

Let us inform you that a few days ago there was an encounter between Pakistani smugglers and BSF personnel near Chandu Wadala post in the Dera Baba Nanak sector located on the Indo-Pak IB.

A BSF jawan was seriously injured in this encounter. Which was shifted to Amritsar for treatment.

In fact, Army Chief General Naravane is holding a meeting with the new Commander-in-Chief of the Northern and Eastern Military Command regarding the situation on the Pakistan and China border.

Apart from this, Lt Gen Manoj Pandey, who recently took over as Vice Chief of Army Staff, has attended this meeting for the first time as Vice Chief of Army Staff.

Army officials told the news agency, this review meeting is being organized in view of the recent changes on the India-China and India-Pakistan border.

Northern Command Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi and Eastern Command Commander Lt Gen RP Kalita are also present in this meeting.

Both the new commanders took over as commanders on 1 February.

In fact, India and China have been having a military standoff for almost two years and efforts are being made to resolve the issue amicably.

However, the army is ready for any situation and recently the army chief had clearly said that India would be victorious in the event of a war.

Top officers of the Army will also consider issues related to the Military Secretary’s branch in the meeting today.
