Republic Day Parade 2021: Ban on flying drone and glider in Delhi-NCR till February 15.  Keeping in view the Republic Day celebrations, Delhi Police has deployed drones, hang gliders, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), micro-light aircraft, hot air balloons, small ones in Delhi-NCR for security reasons.

Flight of size-driven aircraft etc. is banned. This ban will last from 20 January to 15 February. The ban has been imposed on the direction of Police Commissioner SN Srivastava.

It has been reported in IB’s Earlat that some criminal or anti-social elements and terrorist organizations in India use sub-traditional aerial platforms such as semi-gliders, para-motors and pose a threat to the security of the general public, dignitaries, and important establishments. Section-144 has also been imposed in Delhi for the Republic Day celebrations.

Republic Day Parade: Those violating the order will be prosecuted under Section 188 of the IPC. A copy of this order has been sent to all officers of Delhi Police, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation, Public Works Department, Delhi Development Authority, and all Police Stations including Delhi Cantonment Board.

Police Commissioner SN Srivastava says that anti-social elements or terrorists can target specific individuals and important institutions during the Republic Day celebrations. Antisocial elements can carry out criminal and terrorist attacks using not only drones, para-gliders, small sojé aircraft, etc.

SN Srivastava says that Republic Day is always the target of terrorists. Such police also take special protection. In such a situation, such activities are being banned for 27 days from January 20 to February 15, keeping safety in mind. All the ACP and DCP of Delhi Police have been informed about the order in this regard.

CBI case against two companies for Rs 340 crore fraud from banks.

CBI reported on Friday that it had registered a fraud case of over Rs 340 crore from banks against two companies based in NCR and Karnal in Haryana and conducted searches at six locations. The CBI raids were carried out at the premises of both the companies as well as its officers and owners.

A CBI official said that the agency, on the complaint of State Bank of India, including Neftoga India Private Limited, New Delhi / Noida, its CMD, and unknown bureaucrats 219.81 crore fraud was filed against others.
