Reward Announced On Former DIG And BJP Leader In Assam

Reward announced on former DIG and BJP leader in Assam Police recruitment paper leak case. Six more accused have been arrested on Monday in the Assam Police recruitment paper leak case. A total of 19 people have been arrested in this case so far.

State Director General of Police (DGP) Bhaskar Jyoti said the reward has been announced on a former police officer and BJP leader involved in the case.

Talking to the media, the DGP Bhaskar Jyoti said that no matter how big the accused are, they will be arrested if they are found involved. Said that we are looking for former DIG PK Dutta and Diban Deka in this case. The reward for his arrest has been announced.

During this time, senior officials of CID, Guwahati Police, and Assam Police gave information about the arrests made so far. Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Gyanendra Pratap Singh gave detailed information about both the main accused.

Said that Dutta and Diban Deka are being searched. A lookout notice has also been issued against Dutta. A separate case will be registered in this regard by investigating the property illegally earned by them.

Earlier, the investigating agencies also raided the residence and hideouts of Diban Deka. The investigation team has taken Deca’s laptop, bank passbook, and other documents.

Deka’s wife was questioned at the residence for several hours. Meanwhile, Jail Akhil Gogoi has said that the question paper leak scam is bigger than the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.

On the other hand, on Thursday, Diban had informed on social media that he too is connected with the police recruitment examination process. He is leaving Assam for fear of murder. Because many big and corrupt officers of Assam Police are involved in this case.
