Rishabh Pant won the ‘Player of the Series title in Tests. He became the first Indian wicketkeeper-batsman to win the ‘Player of the Series title in Tests.

Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 in the first three-match T20 series and then made a 2-0 clean sweep in the two-match Test series.

The Indian team completely dominated this cricket series and after T20, the same situation prevailed in the Test series as well.

Although the entire team contributed to winning the Test series, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer were very special.

For this reason, Pant has adjudged the Player of the Series and Shreyas Iyer was adjudged the Player of the Match (for the Day-Night Test).

Rishabh Pant also became the first wicketkeeper-batsman for India to win the ‘Player of the Series title in Test cricket.

He scored 92 runs in the first innings and 67 runs in the second innings against Sri Lanka. Because of his batting, he has adjudged the player of the match as it was not easy to bat on the pitch of Bangalore.

Ravindra Jadeja was adjudged the player of the match in the first match against Sri Lanka i.e. Mohali, who scored an unbeaten 175 and took 9 wickets.

Shreyas Iyer scored 186 runs in three innings of this Test series at an average of 62 and scored two half-centuries. His best score was 92 runs.

Rishabh Pant’s new record, he became the first Indian wicketkeeper-batsman to win the Player of the Series title.

Rishabh Pant did very well in the Test series both in front and behind the wicket. Due to his brilliant batting and excellent wicketkeeping, he was given the title of Player of the Series.

Pant had scored 96 runs in the first Test against Sri Lanka and took three catches behind the wicket.

At the same time, in the second test match, he played an innings of 39 runs and 50 runs, took five catches, and stumped three batsmen.

Pant scored 185 runs in three innings of the two-match Test series at an average of 61.66 and scored two half-centuries and his best score was 96 runs.
