On the basis of his innings, India named the historic series. Shabnam Ismail of South Africa won the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for his brilliant performance in three ODIs and two T20 Internationals during the month of January.

Shabnim Ismail took seven wickets for the South African women’s team that won the ODI series against Pakistan, while he took 5 wickets in the T20 series.
