RSWS Series 2022: 21 runs to be scored off 6 balls, 44-year-old batsman got a thrilling victory by hitting 4 boundaries.

Australia Legends registered a thrilling victory on the basis of Brad Haddin’s aggressive innings.

The 11th match of the Road Safety World Series 2022 was played between Australia and Bangladesh Legends on Sunday night. Australia had to score 21 runs to win in the last over.

Haddin gave the team victory by batting aggressively. Playing first in the match, Bangladesh scored a struggling score of 158 runs for 9 wickets.

In reply, Australia Legends achieved the target for 7 wickets in the last ball. Haddin, 44, returned unbeaten with a half-century and was the player of the match.

Australia Legends had to score 21 runs to win in the last over with 3 wickets remaining. Left-arm fast bowler Abul Hasan came to bowl.

Haddin could not score on the first ball. He hit a six off the second ball. The third ball was a no-ball and 2 runs were also scored on it.

Not a single run was scored on the third ball. Haddin hit 3 fours on the last 3 balls to give the team a thrilling victory. He remained unbeaten on 58 off 37 balls. Hit 3 fours and 4 sixes.

RSWS Series 2022: 4 wickets for 8 runs.

The start of Australia, chasing the target, was not good. Cameron White was dismissed for one run in the very first over.

After this, captain Shane Watson scored 35 and Callum Ferguson took over the team by scoring 24 runs. Both added 70 runs for the second wicket.

After this, the team stumbled and the score became 90 runs for 5 wickets. For Bangladesh, left-arm spinner Elias Sunny took 4 wickets for 8 runs in 4 overs.

Earlier, Bangladesh had not had a good start either. The team lost 5 wickets for 62 runs.
