Sachin Tendulkar Praised Rohit Sharma For His Performance

Sachin Tendulkar praised Rohit Sharma, said – he has looked a notch higher in England.

India’s great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was very impressed with Rohit Sharma’s batting in the ongoing Test series against England.

Sachin said that Rohit is now moving ahead by showing the ‘other side of his mood and playing according to the situation of the match.

Rohit Sharma, playing the first series as an opener in England conditions, has scored 36 not out, 12 not out, 83, and 21 runs in two Test matches.

Sachin Tendulkar while talking to the news agency said, “From what I have seen, I think Rohit Sharma has taken the lead and he has shown the other side of his nature and how he can change his game.

And adapt to the conditions and play accordingly.” Although Rohit has not yet got such a big score in foreign Tests as an opener, he looks strong abroad as well.

Rohit was, in fact, set to score his first overseas century as a Test opener in the first innings at Lord’s, but was dismissed by James Anderson.

Sachin Tendulkar praised Rohit Sharma: Sachin said that Rohit has been such a leader, whom KL Rahul has supported immensely.

The right-hander scored 129 runs and was declared the Player of the Match for the Lord’s Test, which India won by 151 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar said, “He has been the leader in the opening and KL has been a great support to him.

As far as playing the pull shot is concerned, he has also crossed the boundary with that shot and I see that he is the team in both the Tests.

” What have you been able to achieve?” Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was very impressed with Rohit Sharma’s technique and especially his eagerness to drop the ball.

He has said, “Rohit is leaving the ball and has defended the ball superbly or equally well so far. He was always a brilliant player, but looking at his last few innings in England I can say that he has definitely gone up a notch.”

The Indian team will be hoping to play big innings in the third Test to help the team win and take a 2-0 lead in the series.

England legend claims – only these two teams are producing strong batsmen for Test cricket.

England’s limited-overs team has many match-winners, but there are only a few players in the Test team, who can make their mark on the opposition team.

Regarding this, former England legend Nasser Hussain has said that only the World Test Championship 2021 finalists India and New Zealand team have quality batsmen for the red-ball format.
