After the Maharashtra government allowed the sale of liquor in supermarkets and grocery stores, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut argued that if the sale of liquor increases, the farmers will get its benefit.

We have done this to double the income of the farmers. BJP only opposes but does nothing for farmers.

Significantly, the Maharashtra government has decided that now the sale of liquor will be allowed in the state’s grocery stores and supermarkets as well.

This decision has been taken to increase the revenue from the sale of liquor. The opposition BJP is strongly opposing this decision of the government.

In the cabinet meeting held on Thursday, it was decided that the government would allow the sale of liquor by setting up separate counters in supermarkets and Kirana shops of more than 1000 square feet.

On this, NCP spokesperson and minister in the state government Nawab Malik says that there are many factories to make liquor in the state, the state government has taken this decision only to help the liquor producers.

Devendra Fadnavis protested.

Devendra Fadnavis, the former Chief Minister of the state and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, strongly opposed this decision of the government.

He said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government has not taken a single decision in the interest of farmers, poor and small traders during the Corona period.

The priority of the government is only and only alcohol. The government, intoxicated by power, should also help the poor a little.

Fadnavis tweeted, Liquor became cheaper than petrol and diesel.

After the prohibition was over, the sale of liquor was allowed. New permits were issued for the sale of liquor in Maharashtra.

Now selling liquor is also being allowed in supermarkets and grocery stores. This way of making Maharashtra a ‘Madhya Rashtra’ is not being digested.

Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Praveen Darekar said that this government is going to take care of those who drink alcohol, not the farmers.

The government is not even worried about temples, educational institutions, and teachers.

The government is not worried about the ruin of the new generation. He only cares about the brewers and those who drink it.

Nawab Malik.

Minister Nawab Malik replied that such a system is in force in BJP-ruled states like Goa and Himachal Pradesh, but the Bharatiya Janata Party has to oppose it only in Maharashtra.
