Six Drug Suppliers Arrested From Various Places In Bengaluru
Six drug suppliers arrested from various places in Bengaluru, various types of drugs seized. According to the police, one of the two Kannada film actresses arrested in the drugs racket met Subramanian four times for taking drugs from his flat.
The Bangalore City Crime Branch has arrested six drug suppliers including two Nigerian nationals from various locations. Various types of drugs have been seized from them.
Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Patil said that the first raids were conducted in Ramamurthy Nagar from where two Nigerian nationals were arrested with 134 ecstasy tablets. Rs 10 lakh was also recovered from them.
In the second raid, Mukesh Singh and Chandan Kumar were arrested from the Badarhalli area with around five kilograms of marijuana.
Whereas, the third raid was conducted at the residence of Srinivas Subramanian alias Shree. 13 ecstasy tablets, 100 grams of ganja, and 0.5 grams of hashish were recovered from here.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravi Kumar said that one of the two Kannada film actresses arrested in the drugs racket had met Subramanian’s flat-four times to get him drugs.
Significantly, actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani have already been arrested in connection with drug consumption, sale, and supply. Both are currently in judicial custody for 14 days.
Bengaluru Police has stepped up the investigation in the high-profile drug racket case. Police custody of Kannada film actress Sanjana Galrani, Ragini Dwivedi, and others in the case has been extended till September 14.
Meanwhile, in this case, the police arrested another accused named Aditya Agarwal from Haryana. According to the Bengaluru Police, Agarwal is an associate of party planner Viren Khanna.
Earlier, the City Crime Branch of Bangalore arrested Kannada film actress Sanjana Galrani and her mother on 8 September. Four days before Sanjana, police arrested lead actress Ragini Dwivedi.
Apart from Ragini, the police have arrested Viren Khanna, the party’s planner in the case, allegedly drug peddlers Loom Pepper Samba, Rahul Toney, Prashant Ranka, and Niaz Ahmed.
