The Supreme Court on Wednesday disposed of a substantial number of intercollegiate petitions filed by the state cricket associations on all matters related to cricket reform.

But the petition relating to the post of BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, Secretary Jai Shah, and Co-Secretary Jayesh George, the hearing was deferred till January next year. Their tenures ended a few months ago.

The BCCI has filed an application in the Supreme Court seeking significant amendments to the Supreme Court-approved constitution, which has been made by the Lodha Committee appointed by the Supreme Court.

The court has now fixed the hearing for the matter for the third week in January. The BCCI demanded an amendment to its constitution, which was not heard on Wednesday.
