Strict action against wildlife smugglers, CBI and ED should cooperate in this: CJI

Chief Justice (CJI) SA Bobde has said that people involved in wildlife trafficking are also involved in various other illegal activities such as drug and gun smuggling.

Law enforcement agencies like CBI and ED should stop these. Strict action should be taken against such people. In a program organized by the Judicial Academy, Assam, the CJI said that legislation is necessary to protect wildlife from smuggling.

The CJI said, “It is a danger that the money coming from wildlife smuggling is used elsewhere.” Talking about environmental protection, the CJI said that human beings cannot be held responsible for every loss of nature.

The dinosaur species was destroyed when humans were not. However, there is a lot on earth, for which we should try to conserve.

Supreme Court’s big decision on women’s reservation in jobs, said- Merit is the basis for a general category for all.

The Supreme Court has given an important arrangement on the reservation of women, saying that if a reserved class woman brings more than the cut-off marks fixed for the general category, then she has the right to go to the general category.

That is, the woman candidate will be counted in the general category, she will not be counted in the reserved category.

The apex court said in the verdict that the open (general) category is for everyone, in which the reserved category also comes, and in the open category, the only merit is the basis.

Order to hire a female candidate.

The apex court has given this arrangement by resolving the trapped screws of reservation on the basis of vertical i.e. social backwardness and special reservation given to women, ex-servicemen, etc. in the case of women.

The court has ordered to hire a woman candidate of reserved category of Other Backward Classes (OBC) who scored more than the cut-off of a general category in Uttar Pradesh soldier recruitment.

There was no arrangement for women.

It is known that in the case of men, there is already a system that if a male candidate of the reserved category gets more marks in the cut-off and merit of the general class, then she is considered as the general class.

But so far about women, there was no clear system. In the case of women, the case of vertical and horizontal reservation used to be implicated.

A bench of Ravindra Bhat, Justice UU Lalit, and Justice Hrishikesh Rai gave the verdict on Friday in the 2013 constable recruitment case in Uttar Pradesh.
