Pralay Missile: Successful testing of India’s ‘Pralaya’ ballistic missile, will destroy the enemy in a range of up to 500 kilometers.

India on Tuesday successfully test-fired surface-to-surface short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) ‘Pralaya’ from Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha coast.

Giving information about this, a defense official said that this missile has been developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).

The missile was launched at around 9.50 a.m. During this period the missile accomplished all its mission objectives.

He said a battery of tracking instruments monitored its trajectory along the coastline.

Successful Pralaya Missile Test: Pralay is a short-range, surface-to-surface missile with a range of 350-500 km.

Its load capacity is 500-1,000 kg.

The Pralay missile is a solid-fuel and battlefield missile based on the Prithvi Defense Vehicle.

Pralay has been developed for deployment on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and Line of Control (LOC).

The Pralay missile can be compared with China’s ‘Dong Feng 12’ and Russia’s ‘Iskander’, which were used in the ongoing war with Ukraine.

It also has tactical ballistic missiles in Pakistan’s defense system.
