Swamitva yojana 2020: know what is PM Modi’s Swamitva yojana 2020, millions of villagers will get the direct benefit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start the first phase today by giving a paper of ownership of the land under the Swamitva yojana 2020 on October 11.

This will be a change-making step for rural India. This step of the government will benefit from about 6.62 villages in four years. The ownership plan was brought out on 24 April this year by Prime Minister Modi on National Panchayat Day.

Under this scheme, the goal of legitimate resolution of property-related cases in rural India has been set. Through this scheme, the demarcated areas of the village will be demarcated with the help of the drone survey technique. This will help in reducing legal disputes in the villages.

What is the Swamitva yojana 2020

This is a special scheme started by the Central Government’s Ministry of Panchayati Raj. It was announced by the Prime Minister on National Panchayati Raj Day, 24 April 2020.

The purpose of this scheme is to distribute property cards to give ‘record of rights’ to people in rural areas. This scheme will be implemented in a phased manner in 4 years. It is to be completed between 2020 and 2024 and 6.62 lakh villages of the country are to be covered.

How the Swamitva yojana 2020 will be implemented

The ownership plan is a central government scheme. The nodal agency to implement this is the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.

To implement it in the states, the Revenue Department or Land Records Department has been made the nodal department which will implement the scheme in collaboration with the State Department of Panchayati State.

The Survey of India will act as a technical partner in implementing this scheme.

Know what are the benefits of Swamitva yojana 2020

Under this scheme, the demarcated areas of the village will be demarcated with the help of the drone survey technique. With this, people living in the village will get their property records of rights.

Through these records, they will be able to use their assets financially and can take loans or other financial facilities from the bank.

This scheme will provide accurate land figures for the rural scheme and will help the government in estimating property tax. Apart from this, it will help in reducing legal disputes related to land.

This way you will be able to download land documents

According to the information given by the PMO, under the scheme, 1.32 lakh people will be able to download their land papers through an SMS link. In the first phase, 763 villages of six states will get the benefit of the scheme.

It has 346 villages from Uttar Pradesh, 221 Haryana, 100 Maharashtra, 44 Madhya Pradesh, 50 Uttarakhand, and 2 Karnataka.

SMS link will be sent to states other than Maharashtra to download their land documents within a day. In Maharashtra, a fee has been placed on the property card, so there it may take up to a month.

No record of ownership of residential property yet

There is a record of the cultivated land of the village in Khasra-Khatauni. However, there is no record on the basis of ownership of the residential property of the villages. Through this scheme, it will be measured by measuring the ownership of every residential property.
