If you are also a Pulao lover and want to eat it differently, then this time you can try Cabbage Pulao.

Tasty Cabbage Pulao Recipe: For 3 people.

Material :

1 cup basmati rice
1 small finely chopped cabbage
1 medium-sized finely chopped onion
1 finely chopped tomato
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2-3 chopped green chillies
2 tbsp oil or ghee
1 tsp cumin
3-4 cloves
2-3 green cardamoms
1 small cinnamon stick
2 bay leaves
2 cups water
Fresh coriander for garnish
Salt as per taste

Method :

First of all, wash Basmati rice thoroughly until the water runs clear. After that, let the rice soak in water for half an hour.

Now heat oil or ghee in a pan or pressure cooker on medium flame.

Then add cumin, cloves, green cardamom, cinnamon, and bay leaf. Fry them until the aroma starts coming from them.

Add thinly chopped onions and chopped green chilies to it. Broil the onion until it becomes brilliant brown.

Now add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute or two, until the raw smell disappears.

Then add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and mix with onions.

After this, fry the cabbage for a few minutes until it becomes soft.

After draining, transfer the rice to the pan. Then gently mix the rice and cabbage together.

Now add two cups of water add salt as per taste and mix well. If you are using a pressure cooker, cover it with a lid and cook on medium flame till one whistle. Then, reduce the flame to low and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes.

Once the rice is cooked and the cabbage is soft, your cauliflower pulao is ready to serve. Serve garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
