A Karachi journalist, Mubashir Zaidi, tweeted that Hindus in the Karak district had sought permission from the local body for the expansion of a temple, but a group of local fundamentalists attacked and destroyed the temple.

The police and administration kept watching this shameful incident as a spectacle.

Similarly, a researcher and journalist Rabia Mehmood condemned the attack on the temple and tweeted that the Pakistan government is nervous about the rise of Hindutva in India.

In a powerful explosion at the port of Beirut, the American intelligence agency FBI has indicated that the explosion occurred in 500 tons of ammonium nitrate, not 2750 tons.

People angry with the blast took to the streets alleging negligence of the government department and ineptitude of the government and demanded the entire government resign.

Till now Hasan Diab is working as the acting Prime Minister.
