Terrorist killed in Tral, CRPF’s ASI martyred in Budgam. Campaigns are continuing against terrorism in Kashmir. On Thursday, security forces killed an albadar militant in an encounter at Tral (Pulwama) in south Kashmir.

Meanwhile, an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of the CRPF was sacrificed in an ambush by terrorists in the morning in Budgam. The terrorists also took his rifle with him. The People’s Anti-Fascist Front claimed responsibility for the attack.

Security forces have been campaigning at both places for the terrorists. This is the second terrorist incident in Budgam in the last twenty-four hours. Earlier in the evening, terrorists killed Khag Block Development Council (BDC) chairman Sardar Bhupendra Singh in his house in Dalwachh.

According to the information, the police came to know in the early hours that some militants of Alabdar were about to gather for a meeting at Machhoma village located in the upper part of Tral in Pulwama district.

Police Special Operations Team (SOG) jawans campaigned against the militants with the Army’s 42 RR. The terrorists were gathering in a house on the outer edge of the village.

On seeing the security forces, the terrorists escaped from there by firing bullets, but one terrorist got trapped in the house. The soldiers asked him to surrender. Police officials also sought the help of local citizens but were not considered terrorists.

Meanwhile, the security forces evacuated the family of the landlord, who had become a terrorist hideout, amid the firing of the terrorist. After this, the security forces killed the terrorist with a final strike. The slain terrorist has been identified as Irfan Ahmed Dar of Alabdar.

He hails from the nearby Gadikhal village. Irfan, who was reinstated in the terrorist organization on August 29 this year, has an old association with terrorism. In April 2019, he attacked a Naka party of security forces near Chursu, Avantipora on the National Highway with a grenade.

He was arrested on 4 August 2019 in connection with the same attack. He was released on April 9, 2020, and became active in the terrorist organization again. Security forces also recovered a pistol and other equipment from the encounter site.

Budgam attack: A patrol team of 117 personnel of CRPF was passing through the Vadipora Kaisramula area of ​​Chadura (Budgam) in the morning. Two terrorists, who allegedly came on a motorcycle at the outer edge of the garden on the side of the road, fired swiftly.

In this, ASI NU Badole was seriously injured. The soldiers also fired back. Firing continued on both sides for about 10 minutes. After this, the terrorists also took an assault rifle of the injured CRPF personnel.

CRPF spokesman Pankaj Singh said the injured ASI was admitted to the Army’s 92 Base Hospital for treatment, where he was martyred. He said that the martyred CRPF officers were from Nagpur in Maharashtra. However, he refused any reaction when the rifle was robbed.
