According to the information, police personnel was stationed in the Khanyar area of ​​the Srinagar district.

Meanwhile, the terrorists hiding there suddenly started firing on the police team. Before the police personnel could manage, a jawan was injured in this firing.

The terrorists fled thereafter carrying out this incident. On hearing the sound of firing, the security forces and jawans stationed nearby immediately reached the spot.

Arshad Ahmed, a Jammu and Kashmir Police jawan injured in the firing of terrorists, was immediately admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment, where his treatment is going on.

Soon after this development, the security forces started a search operation in the surrounding areas. Elaborate security arrangements have been made at all the Nakas.

Terrorists attack police party: Every vehicle is being checked. However, no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

Earlier, the encounter between terrorists and security forces is going on in the Rajouri district since this morning. So far, the security forces have been successful in killing one terrorist in this encounter.
