Now there will be no delay in the treatment of jawans injured in Naxalite attacks. Actually, four operation theaters (OTs) have been ready in the district hospital of Dantewada.

A 16-bed Intensive Care Department (ICU) is also ready. It is noteworthy that there was no system of operation anywhere in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh.

The soldiers injured in the blast or encounter were sent to Raipur by helicopter. Due to this process taking two to two and a half hours, many times the lives of soldiers were lost due to excessive bleeding.

Apart from Dantewada, two super-specialty hospitals and trauma centers are also being built in Jagdalpur for speedy treatment in the Bastar division.

Dantewada will be the shortest distance from the Naxal areas of Bijapur, Sukma, Kondagaon, and Narayanpur, so this hospital will be very useful.

Civil Surgeon Sanjay Baghel said that under the guidance of Collector Deepak Soni, operation theaters equipped with modern facilities have been built in a short span of time.

Now preparations are being made to start a trauma center as well. The jawans posted on the Naxal front will also be treated in this hospital.

Till now, the soldiers injured by Naxal encounters or landmine blasts first carry the soldiers on their shoulders and reach the nearest camp.

After first aid, he was sent by helicopter to Ramakrishna Care Center in Raipur or any major hospital in Visakhapatnam.

In this way, it used to take two to two and a half hours for the jawan to reach the hospital from the encounter site. Even for minor surgeries, soldiers and common people had to go to Raipur.

Now micro-operation of the seriously injured can also be done in Dantewada Hospital. Equipment and a team of doctors are ready here.

There is a shortage of radiologist, which is being advertised to fill it. After the operation in the 16-bed ICU, the injured will be able to get better medical facilities till they recover.

Seven story super specialty hospital building ready.

Apart from Dantewada, a seven-story super specialty hospital building is ready at Dimrapal, Jagdalpur. Along with this, a multi-story building is also being built in Maharani Hospital of Jagdalpur.

A super specialty hospital will also be built here. NMDC is building a super specialty hospital at Khutpadar in Nagarnar. Soon Bastar will become a well-equipped division in terms of health services.

Dantewada CMHO GC Sharma informed that four modern operation theaters are ready in the district hospital. We also have enough doctors.

It will benefit the common people as well as the injured jawans on the Naxal front in getting quick treatment.
