The Body Of BJP Counselor Rakesh Pandita Reached Jammu

The body of BJP counselor Rakesh Pandita reached Jammu, the last rites were performed in Bantalab cremation ground: Jammu.

The body of BJP counselor Rakesh Pandita, who became a victim of terrorists’ bullets in Kashmir’s Tral, reached his residence in Roop Nagar, Jammu in the early hours of Thursday.

After completing some religious formalities, the body was taken to the Bantalab crematorium where he was cremated.

Rakesh Pandita’s funeral pyre was lit by his son Paras Pandita, while BJP MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP state president Ravindra Raina and former MLC Vikram Randhawa were also present on the occasion.

When the body of Rakesh Pandita was brought to his residence in the early hours, many people were already present there who had reached for his last darshan.

As soon as the body was taken out of the ambulance and taken inside his house, the people present there started shouting slogans of “The earth I watered with blood, Kashmir is ours”.

At the same time, there was anger among the people that the terrorists targeted two Kashmiri Pandit leaders within a year and both these leaders were trying for peace in Kashmir.

Earlier last year also, terrorists had killed a Kashmiri Pandit Sarpanch Ajay Pandita outside his house in Kashmir.

Whereas this is the second case in which terrorists have targeted a Kashmiri Pandit leader.

On the other hand, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, who reached the funeral of Rakesh Pandita, said that this is a conspiracy of Pakistan that does not want to allow Kashmir to improve.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is restoring peace in Kashmir, but Pakistan does not like this. This is the reason why terrorists are targeting their leaders at the behest of Pakistan.

On the other hand, BJP state president Ravindra Raina said that the perpetrators of this heinous crime will not be spared.

Rakesh Pandita is survived by his mother Sharika Pandita, wife Aparna Pandita, son Paras Pandita, besides two brothers Sanjay Pandita and King Pandita.

When elections were announced in Kashmir, many parties refused to contest the elections. His brother contested the election and won. He used to help people. He always tried to bring development to his area.

Even though the situation in Kashmir was not good, he used to go to his area so that the problems of the people could be solved. At the same time, local people also said that Rakesh was very friendly.

He was the only one to take responsibility for his family, but after his departure, the support of the family has been taken away. The government should help the family.
