The stock market opens on a slight decline, Sensex crosses 39500, TCS, Reliance shares rise. Today, on the third trading day of the week i.e. Wednesday, the stock market opened on a slight decline.

Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex started down 23.59 points at 39550.98. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty opened at a level of 11660.90 with a slight fall of 1.50 points.

The domestic stock market closed on the previous trading day. The Sensex had closed at the level of 39574.57, up 600.87 points. The Nifty closed at the level of 11662.40 with a gain of 159.05 points.

Among today’s major stocks, TCS, Reliance, SBI Life, and Bharti Airtel opened on the green mark. IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Motors, and Infosys started on the red mark.

Today the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) review of monetary policy will begin, which will run till 9 October.

The global market declined on Tuesday. The US market Dow Jones was down 375.88 points at 27,772.80, down 1.34%. At the same time, Nasdaq also closed down 1.89% at 11,291.30.
