Three More Were Arrested In The Jahangirpuri Violence Case

Three more were arrested in the Jahangirpuri violence case, so far 36 accused have reached behind bars.

Police have arrested three more accused in the Jahangirpuri violence case in the capital of Delhi. These include the names Zaheer alias Jalil, Anabul alias Sheikh and Tabrez.

So far, the police have arrested some 36 people in the violence case. In the case related to the violence, the police may arrest more people now.

In fact, during the procession on the birth anniversary of Hanuman, on the afternoon of April 16, more than 100 rioters involved in pelting stones on devotees at Kushal Chowk in Jahangirpuri’s C Block have been identified by the Delhi Police, but they have not been able to catch them.

All the accused who have been identified are absconding from their respective homes.

Apart from the North-West District Police, the Special Cell and the Crime Branch team are also conducting raids by visiting Delhi-NCR and neighboring states and Bengal to catch them.

Delhi Police has so far arrested 36 people in the Jahangirpuri violence case. Raids are being conducted continuously to arrest the rest of the accused.

There was a conspiracy to cause a big riot:

According to the sources associated with the crime branch, the manner in which the violence was planned in Jahangirpuri was bigger than the riots in North-East Delhi two years ago.

Several meetings were held about this violence, along with weapons that were also provided to the miscreants.

The miscreants who spread violence expected that many people would die in the stampede as soon as they started pelting stones and firing on the procession. After this violence will erupt on a large scale.

About 20 members of PFI were present in Jahangirpuri on the day of violence to incite people to spread violence.

More than 100 PFI student wing members live in Jahangirpuri. There was a plan to include them too.
