Victims and Recovery Efforts
The passenger manifest included 169 Indian citizens, 53 British nationals, 7 Portuguese citizens, and one Canadian. Recovery efforts are ongoing, with approximately 100 bodies recovered so far. Many of the remains are severely burned, necessitating DNA testing for identification.
