Two Al-Badar Terrorists Killed In Kulgam Encounter

Two Al-Badar terrorists were killed in the Kulgam encounter, 7 encounters in 10 days, 13 terrorists killed.

The security forces of Jammu and Kashmir, who took a pledge to root out terrorism in Kashmir in the new year, have once again achieved great success.

In the ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in Hussainpora village of Kulgam district of South Kashmir since last Sunday night, the security forces have killed two top al-Badar terrorists.

Not only this, a huge quantity of arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the encounter site.

The slain terrorists have been identified as Rashid Thokar resident of Hasanpora Tabela, Imad Muzaffar resident of Arugam.

IGP Vijay Kumar said that both of them were active in terrorist activities since December 2021.

This was the seventh encounter of the year 2022. Security personnel has killed 13 terrorists in these ten days. Six Pakistani terrorists were among these terrorists killed.

Let us tell you that Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security forces have resolved to completely eliminate terrorism from Kashmir on this New Year.

To fulfill their resolve, the security forces have launched a campaign from day one this year. Every day encounter is happening somewhere in Kashmir.

According to the police, the encounter started on Sunday evening when the security forces got information about the hiding of terrorists in this village.

Soon after, a joint team of Police, CRPF, and the Army started a cordon and search operation in the village.

As the security forces reached near the hideout of the terrorists, the terrorists started firing on them. This started the encounter.

Although after this the security forces also asked the terrorists present on the spot to surrender they did not agree.

On the other hand, IGP Kashmir, while confirming the killing of all three terrorists, said that all three were related to local militant al-Badr.

After the completion of the search operation, it was announced to end the encounter.
