Two more arrested in Kerala RSS worker’s murder case.

Police have arrested two more Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) workers in connection with the murder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker SK Srinivasan in Kerala’s Palakkad district.

With this, the number of accused arrested in this case has gone up to nine. On 16 April, Srinivasan was stabbed to death with swords and knives.

ADGP (Law and Order) Vijay Sakhare said that one of the two arrested accused was directly involved in the attack on Srinivasan.

He said that the police have identified all the accused involved in the murder of Srinivasan. There will be more arrests soon.

Sakhare said that around 14-15 people were part of the conspiracy. He initially tried to kill two other RSS workers as well. However, he did not divulge the names of those two RSS leaders.

The official said that since Srinivasan was not actively involved in party work or politics for some time.

He probably did not face any threat to his life and that was the reason why he did not go into hiding like the other two RSS leaders.

Police said that most of those arrested in the Srinivasan case are activists of the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its political wing Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).

Two more arrested in Kerala: The matter.

A day before Srinivasan’s murder an SDPI worker was murdered. Three RSS workers have been arrested in this case.

In November last year too, another RSS worker Sanjeet was murdered in the same area. SDPI is accused of killing Sanjeet.

Such incidents related to BJP/RSS and SDPI/PFI are coming to the fore in Kerala in the last few months.
