Two terrorists killed in Shopian encounter, security forces launched a search operation: Shopian Encounter.

Two terrorists were gunned down by the security forces in the Drgad area of ​​Shopian within a few hours. After the killing of the terrorists, the search operation of the security forces is going on in the area.

The slain terrorists are yet to be identified but according to police sources, both of them are said to be locals.

At present, the security forces have recovered arms and ammunition from the encounter site, taking the bodies of both the terrorists in their possession.

At the same time, internet service has been stopped in the area as a precaution. Security forces say that internet service will be restored as soon as the search operation is completed.

According to the information received from the police, the SOG, Army, and CRPF personnel reached the Dragad area after the sighting of the terrorists.

Two terrorists killed in Shopian encounter: As soon as they started searching for the terrorists, the terrorists started firing on them.

As the surrounded terrorists were said to be locals, the security forces asked them to surrender by laying down their arms but they refused to do so and continued the firing.

Firing is going on from both sides now. Even after one terrorist was killed, one to two terrorists are present at the encounter site. Other details are awaited.

The final form is being given to the strategy for the complete destruction of terrorists in Kashmir, now the terrorists will be eliminated selectively.

About two dozen senior officers of central intelligence agencies have been camping in Kashmir for the past week.

They are here to deal with the situation arising out of the killings of non-Muslims and civilians of other states and to formulate a strategy to eliminate the terrorists.

Kuldeep Singh, Director General of CRPF and National Investigation Agency NIA are also in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the investigation of five civilian killings, including four non-Muslims, in Srinagar is going to be handled by the NIA.

While the investigation into the killings of workers from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in Kulgam and Pulwama will remain with the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Concerned sources said that in the meeting held today i.e. Tuesday morning between J&K DGP Dilbag Singh and Director General of NIA Kuldeep Singh and other concerned officers.

The overall situation of the plaintiff and issues related to terrorist activities were discussed.

In the meeting, JKP discussed the three murders of Makhan Lal Bindru, Bihar’s Gol Gappa vendor Virendra Paswan and taxi driver Mohammad Shafi on October 2.

Also, the killings of two non-Muslim teachers Supinder Kaur and Deepak in a school in Srinagar on October 7 were discussed.

It has reportedly given its consent to handing over the investigation of the conspiracy to murder Chand to the NIA.

Apart from the killing of three workers from UP and Bihar in Kulgam and Pulwama, the investigation of two civilian killings in Srinagar on October 2 will remain with the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
