Two Youth Assistants Working For LeT Arrested
Two youth assistants working for Lashkar engaged in misleading youth to become terrorists and arrested them.
Bandipora police on Sunday claimed to have detained two aides of terrorists working for Lashkar-e-Taiba.
According to the police, two overground workers working for Lashkar have been detained under the Public Safety Act.
Both have been identified as Ishfaq Majeed Dar son Abdul Majeed Dar alias Salahuddin resident of Sadarkoot Bala and Waseem Ahmed Malik alias Obed alias Osama son of Abdul Gani Malik resident of Gundpora Rampora.
Two youth assistants working for Lashkar were arrested: According to the police, Ishfaq Majeed Dar Ghulam was in contact with terrorists in Kashmir.
He was entrusted with the responsibility of persuading the youth of Bandipora to work for Lashkar by his bosses sitting across the border.
Not only this but he was also asked to mark the police, Central Reserve Police Force blocks in the Hajin area of Bandipora so that terrorist attacks can be carried out in these areas.
At the same time, Waseem Ahmed Malik was also in contact with Hashir Parre sitting in POK. Recently his terrorist hideout was raided by Bandipora police.
He was also assigned the task of keeping in touch with the youth in Bandipora and joining them in the terrorist organization and setting up a sleeper cell in the Bandipora district.
He used to lure youths and persuade them to work for Lashkar.
The police detained the youth under the Public Safety Act in view of their links with terrorist organizations and for getting the youth to work for the terrorist organization.
The interrogation of both is on. The interrogation of these two may lead to the arrest of some. Police and security forces can get some important clues.
