Under-19 Cricket World Cup: Pakistan beat Afghanistan, reached quarter-finals with England.

In the ICC Under-19 World Cup being played in the West Indies, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 24 runs in a Group C match to register its second consecutive win and make it to the quarter-finals.

On the other hand, England defeated UAE by 189 runs in the Group A match to secure a place in the quarter-finals.

In the match played at Brian Lara Cricket Stadium, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. The team scored 239 runs for 9 wickets. In reply, Afghanistan’s team could only score 215 runs for 9 wickets.

Abdul Fasih played an innings of 68 runs for Pakistan. Izharulhaq Naveed took three wickets for Afghanistan. Bilal Saidi scored 42 runs for Afghanistan.

Awais Ali took three wickets for Pakistan. Maja Sadaqat was adjudged man of the match for his all-around performance. He scored 42 not out in 37 balls and took one wicket.

Under-19 Cricket World Cup: England beat the UAE team.

England, on the other hand, secured a place in the quarter-finals after beating UAE by 189 runs.

In the match played at Wesseter, England won the toss and batted first, and scored 362 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Captain Tom Prest played an unbeaten 154 runs.

He was the man of the match. Apart from this, Jacob Bethel played an innings of 62 runs. In reply, the UAE team was bundled out for just 173 runs in 38.2 overs. Ali Naseer scored 54 runs.

Under-19 Cricket World Cup: Bangladesh beat Canada.

Bangladesh defeated Canada by eight wickets in another match played in Basseterre itself. Batting first, Canada was bundled out for 136 runs in 44.3 overs.

Anoop Cheema scored the highest 63 runs for the team. Ripun Mandal and SM Mehrab took four wickets each for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh team achieved the target in 30.1 overs for the loss of two wickets. Iftikhar Hossein Ifati played unbeaten innings of 61 runs.
