US again warns Russia of serious consequences for attacking Ukraine.

Tensions continue to rise between Russia and Ukraine. Both the countries standing on the verge of war are seen coming face to face continuously.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration has once again warned Russia of “serious consequences” if it invades Ukraine. At the same time, if the Kremlin chooses to engage constructively, the US has a route to diplomacy.

White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Monday that the US is actively working to reach a diplomatic solution to ease the crisis in Russia and Ukraine.

“At the end of the week, as you know, President Joe Biden spoke with Vladimir Putin and we are engaged with the Russian government in full coordination with our allies and partners,” he said.

The White House said they discussed efforts to strengthen the defensive posture on the eastern side of NATO.

Also underlined the continued close coordination between allies and partners, including readiness to impose serious consequences on Russia.
