Varavara Rao Got bail from Bombay High Court: Bhima Koregaon case. Varavara Rao accused in Bhima Koregaon case gets bail from Bombay High Court.

The Bombay High Court has granted bail to Varavara Rao, an accused in the Bhima Koregaon case.

Accused Varvara Rao has been granted bail on the condition that he will not go out of Mumbai and will have to appear whenever called for an investigation.

Let me tell you that Rao is one of the five accused in the Bhima-Koregaon case who was arrested for having links with the Naxalites.

It is worth mentioning that on 18 November 2020, the Bombay High Court had accused Varvara Rao, accused in the Bhima Koregaon case, of 15 days treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai for treatment of the State Government.

During this time, their family members were allowed to move according to hospital rules.

Explain that the Maharashtra government had submitted a medical report to the Bombay High Court, stating that the accused Varavara Rao is fully conscious and has a sense of things.

On this, Rao’s counsel argued that nothing has been written in this report regarding Rao’s nervous system problems and urinary tract infection. After which the High Court had asked to file a full report in this regard.

It was written in the petition that in view of the worsening neurological and physical health condition of Varavara Rao, he needs to be treated immediately, for which he should be admitted to Nanavati Hospital.

Know what is Bhima Koregaon’s case.

The talk dates to 1 January 2018, when a ceremony was organized on the 200th anniversary of the Bhima-Koregaon battle near Pune. One person was killed due to violence here.

Looking at the history, the Bhima-Koregaon battle took place near Pune in January 1818. The battle took place between the army of the British East India Company and the army of Peshwas.

In this, the people of the Mahar caste fought on behalf of the British, and because of these people, the British army defeated the Peshwas. People of the Mahar caste feel proud of this victory and celebrate this victory every year.

In January 2018, the 200th anniversary of the battle in Bhima-Koregaon was being celebrated as Shaurya Day.

Bhima was organizing a peace program at the Vijay Pillar of Koregaon, but suddenly someone started attacking the vehicles going to the Vijay Pillar.

After this, Dalit organizations called a shutdown in Nashik, Pune, Thane, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Solapur, and other areas including Mumbai for two days.

There was an incident of sabotage and arson. Following this, a case was registered at the Vishram Bagh police station for inciting a riot and five people were detained.
