Bajrang Dal agitated over the Congress manifesto and demonstrated near the Congress headquarters in Delhi.

Bajrang Dal demonstrated near the Congress headquarters in the national capital on Tuesday.

The Bajrang Dal demanded that the party take back its promise to ban the organization if voted to power in Karnataka.

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leaders protested that the Bajrang Dal is the “pride of the country” and would launch a massive nationwide agitation if Congress did not change its Karnataka election manifesto to withdraw the promise.

Bajrang Dal is the youth wing of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

VHP spokesperson Vijay Shankar Tiwari told reporters, “Bajrang Dal is such an organization, which kindles the flame of nationalism and donates blood to save lakhs of people in the country.

Bajrang Dal is the pride of the country and Congress compares it with the banned terrorist organization PFI.

Congress has issued a manifesto talking about a ‘ban’ on Bajrang Dal.

The Congress on Tuesday released its manifesto for the Karnataka Assembly polls, promising decisive action against organizations like the Bajrang Dal and the Popular Front of India (PFI) for “spreading hatred” on the basis of caste and religion in the state.

He says that action can also be taken to ban such organizations.
