WHO Claims Corona Vaccine To Be Available By Year-End

WHO claims the corona vaccine to be available by year-end: Covid-19 vaccine. World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyes said on Tuesday that the vaccine against Corona could be ready by the end of this year.

However, he did not provide much information about this. At the same time, Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft and one of the world’s biggest donors, said that if an effective Corona vaccine is found, life in rich countries of the world can be back on track by next year.

Ghebreyes was addressing the concluding session of the two-day meeting of the WHO Executive Board on the epidemic. He said, “We need the vaccine and hope that by the end of this year we can get the vaccine.” Clinical trials of nine corona vaccines are underway worldwide.

At the Wall Street Journal CEO Council in London, Gates said that if everything went well, things would be back to normal by the end of next year. He said that we do not know yet when the vaccine will be ready.

WHO claims if the vaccine is ready soon, it will take time to produce on a large scale. Bill Gates, through his Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, has funded many pharmaceutical companies producing the Corona vaccine.

Moderna vaccine trial may be delayed

Chicago: American drug company Mordana, which is developing the Corona vaccine, is not getting blacks, Latinis, and Native American people for clinical trials. Due to this, the clinical trial of his corona vaccine is delayed.

The company had contracted with a private company to get volunteers needed for the trial, but the company failed to bring people from these communities as per the requirement. The company wants to test how effective their vaccine can be for these communities.

Accused of interfering with White House in FDA case

Washington: The US President’s Office White House has been accused of interfering in the functioning of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The FDA intends to issue new guidelines regarding the safety and testing standards of the corona vaccine and if this happens, the vaccine may be delayed.

President Donald Trump wants the vaccine to come on the market before the presidential election scheduled for November 3.
