65Th birth anniversary of General Bipin Rawat: The Indian Navy pays tribute to the late General Bipin Rawat and announces two victories in his memory.

The sailors who come first in the women’s Agniveer training will get the first trophy.

The first trophy might be the General Bipin Rawat Rolling Trophy. This trophy will be given to women who get first positions in Mahila Agniveer training.

Indian Navy spokesperson Commander Vivek Madhwal said on Wednesday that the first trophy was handed over to Navy Chief Admiral R.K. Hari Kumar and will be presented to the leading sailors of the Navy during the ‘Passing Out Parade’ of the first batch of Naval Agniveers on 28 March.

Who will get the second trophy?

Commander Vivek Madhwal informed that the second trophy, the General Bipin Rawat Rolling Trophy, will be awarded to the ‘Most Spirited Officer’ undergoing the Naval Higher Command Course at the Naval War College (NWC) in Goa.

Significantly, on December 8, 2021, 12 military personnel, including General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat, were martyred in a helicopter crash near Coonoor, Tamil Nadu.

Bipin Rawat was a visionary leader and military reformer.

The Indian Navy remembered late General Bipin Rawat, the first Chief of Defense Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, on the occasion of his 65th birth anniversary on March 16, the Navy said in a statement.

The Navy described General Rawat as a “visionary leader” and a “military reformer”.

He also said that General Bipin Rawat is known for his professionalism, principles, conviction, and decisiveness.

The Navy remembered the achievements of General Rawat.

The Navy stated that during a prominent profession spanning over 4 decades, General Rawat`s achievements had been superb in all spheres of the army and countrywide protection matters.

So at the same time, he also said that India’s first Chief of Defense Staff General Rawat has taken steps for organizational and structural reforms to integrate the military forces.
