Alert on LAC, army chief asks army to be alert of Chinese antics. Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane reviewed the operational preparedness of the army.

He visited the northern border of the Arunachal Pradesh sector amid the ongoing military deadlock over the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China in eastern Ladakh.

Praising the soldiers’ tremendous alertness, the army chief asked the LAC to be very vigilant and alert about Chinese activities from across the border.

It is important for the Army Chief to take stock of the borders with Arunachal-Sikkim, given the recent active activities of the Chinese Army across the LAC in the eastern Ladakh region.

General Narwane, who arrived in Dimapur on Thursday on a two-day visit, reviewed the operational preparations of the army on the Chinese borders bordering Arunachal Pradesh on the first day.

On Friday, the security situation of the northeastern states, especially the border with Myanmar, took stock of the security challenges.

In this review meeting, all the senior military officers of the Army including Lieutenant General Johnson Mathew and General Officer Commanding of the Military Head Quarter of Dimapur were present.

Army’s vigil more than ever in view of China’s old antics.

The Indian Army does not want to leave any scope for its deployment and vigilance along the entire border with China in view of the Chinese forces’ activism on LAC and the ongoing deadlock in eastern Ladakh.

The army is more vigilant than ever, especially given the old antics of China along the borders with Arunachal and Sikim.

The army chief had clearly said on Wednesday that we have a close watch on the annual exercise and training activities of the Chinese army close to Ladakh.

He also said that our army is fully prepared and alert to deal with any action or activity there.

General Narwane had also made it clear that India would not reduce the deployment of its troops along the northern border until Chinese troops withdrew from LAC areas in eastern Ladakh.

India is constantly trying to give a strong message to China

Along with maintaining military vigilance about the Chinese military’s dilemma, India is constantly trying to send a strong message to China at the diplomacy level as well.

External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar once again stated clearly that unless the ongoing tension on the LAC is over, a cooperative relationship with China is not possible.
