Amarnath Yatra may start from Baltal for a limited number of days and for a limited period: Amarnath Yatra 2021. There is good news for the devotees of Lord Shiva.

Even though the Jammu and Kashmir administration has not taken any decision regarding Shri Amarnath Yatra in the midst of Corona epidemic.

But Amarnath Yatra may start from the Baltal route for a limited number of days and for a limited period.

In fact, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board has invited tenders for cleaning, maintenance and other arrangements on the Baltal route on June 7.

It is expected that the administration is seriously considering to start the Yatra from Baltal route.

This year the Shrine Board has fixed the date from 28 June to 22 August to start the annual pilgrimage of Baba Amarnath.

In view of the situation arising out of Corona, the board had stopped the advance registration midway, due to which there was confusion about the start of the journey.

So far the government has not clarified the situation regarding the visit.

Recently, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has also discussed with the Union Home Secretary and Union Home Minister in Delhi regarding Baba Amarnath Yatra.

The Lieutenant Governor has said that no decision has been taken yet regarding Baba Amarnath Yatra. The situation of Corona is being monitored. A decision in this regard will be taken in time.

Meanwhile, the Shrine Board has invited tenders for cleaning of toilets on Baltal route, cleaning camps, running and maintaining Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) at Baltal and septic tank at Neelgrath helipad.

The last date for submission of tenders has been fixed as June 15. Sources reveal that the repair of Baltal road has also been started.

Let us inform that last year due to the situation arising out of Corona, Baba Amarnath’s Yatra could not be done.

Meanwhile, Ganderbal Deputy Commissioner Kritika Jyotsna has asked people between the ages of 18 and 44, who have rendered various services during the Shri Amarnath Yatra, to visit vaccination centers and get a dose.

Let us tell you that recently the vaccine for horses has also been done in Baltal.

Live telecast of Aarti from holy cave:

This time also devotees who are unable to visit Shri Amarnath Yatra will be able to watch live telecast of Aarti from the holy cave of Baba Barfani sitting at home. The Shrine Board has made arrangements for Aarti.

Aarti from the holy cave of Baba Barfani will be telecast live on MHOne Prime channel daily from June 28 to August 22 at 6 am to 6:30 pm and 5 pm to 5:30 pm. Aarti was telecast live last year as well.
