Army constable martyred, Nayak injured in Pak shelling in Naushahar sector of District Rajouri: Ceasefire Violation.

One Indian Army constable was martyred while another was injured in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the Naushara sector of Rajouri district.
The Martyr has been identified as Havildar Patil Sangram Shekhar resident of Kohlapur Maharashtra. The injured second jawan is of hero rank. The injured jawan has been admitted to Rajouri Military Hospital.
According to information received from military sources, this series of shelling started in the early hours today. Pakistani soldiers fired mortar shells targeting Indian posts.
Two jawans were seriously injured by shelling. The injured jawans were rushed to the hospital where doctors declared Havildar Shekhar a martyr.
At the same time, Indian soldiers are also giving a befitting reply to this Gelabari of Pakistan.
Several Pakistani posts have been destroyed in retaliation. Five to six Pakistanis are said to be seriously injured. The army has issued an alert in the areas adjacent to the border.

As part of the same operation this morning, the Kashmir Police arrested two overground workers of Jaish-e-Mohammed from the Tral area of Avantipora in south Kashmir.
Objectionable material has also been recovered from them.
