Pakistan captain Babar Azam equaled former Indian captain Virat Kohli’s record. He registered another record in his name in the sixth T-match against England on Friday.

Babar completed three thousand runs in T20 Internationals and he equaled Kohli’s record in the matter of scoring three thousand T20 International runs in the shortest innings.

He achieved this position in the 81st innings while Virat also made this record in the 81st innings.

New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill, who has crossed the 3,000-run mark in the shortest innings, is followed by both those batsmen, who have achieved this position in 101 innings.

Rohit had achieved this feat in 108 innings and Ireland batsman Paul Stirling in 113 innings.

Babar also became the fifth batsman in the world to score 3000 runs in T20 Internationals.

Babar Azam batted till the end of this match and scored an unbeaten 87 off 59 balls, hitting seven fours and three sixes.

This was the 27th half-century of Babar’s T20 career. However, his half-century did not work for the team and England won the match by eight wickets.

Playing first, Pakistan scored 169 for 6 in 20 overs, but England scored 170 runs for 2 wickets in 14.3 overs on the basis of the stormy innings of their opener batsman Philip Salt and won the match by 8 wickets.

With this win, the 7-match T20I series is now level at 3-3.

Philip Salt played excellent innings of 88 runs in this match with the help of 3 sixes and 13 fours in this match, not only did he complete his half-century in 19 balls and the fastest half-century in T20 International cricket for England against Pakistan.

Along with becoming the player, he also became the player to score the third fastest half-century for England in the shortest format of cricket.
