Biden spoke to Putin on the phone for the second time this month, said – reduce tension with Ukraine.

US President Joe Biden and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation on Thursday for about an hour.

This call was made by Putin. Biden has also warned Putin that the US and its allies will not back down from responding if Russia attacks Ukraine.

Biden also said that significant progress in these talks could only happen if tensions between the two countries eased. Progress in this regard cannot take place under stress.

According to the White House, there was a phone conversation between President Biden and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The issue of Ukraine was also included in this 50-minute long dialogue. President Biden has asked President Putin to de-escalate tensions with Ukraine, according to the White House.

Biden spoke to Putin on the phone: Several issues were discussed between the two heads, including the strategic dialogue to be held with Russia.

This was told by US National Security Council spokeswoman Emily Horne on Wednesday itself. He also said that the Biden administration would continue diplomatic talks with our European allies.

A virtual meeting was held between the two leaders this month in which the two leaders agreed to appoint envoys to continue talks on security in Europe in the wake of rising tensions along the Ukraine border.

Ukraine claims that more than 90 thousand Russian soldiers are deposited on the border. Along with them are armored vehicles and electronic warfare systems, due to which Ukraine and the NATO alliance are worried.

They think that Russia is planning some kind of attack. At the same time, Russia says that Ukraine has deployed 120,000 troops along the border and is engaged in reclaiming territory held by Russian-backed rebels in eastern Ukraine. However, Ukraine has denied the allegation.
