CCB notices to Pulikinagar corporator Zakir for the DJ village riot case of Bengaluru City. Pulikinagar constituency Congress MLA Akhand Srinivasamoorthy’s nephew Naveen had posted a derogatory post about Profit Mohammed on his Facebook account due to which there was a riot.

The CCB(Central Crime Branch) police are appearing for the Pulikeshinagar corporator Zakir to attend a hearing on the case of the anti-Muslim Facebook post, which has led to a huge riot in the village of KJ and the legislator Akhand Srinivas.

It is said that Zaheer is expected to appear before the police at 10 am today. The CCB notices have been already issued. Also, CCB (Central Crime Branch) police, who had seized Zakir’s mobile, had forwarded it to the FSL.

At this time, the house of Akhand Srinivas was burnt. The DJ had vandalized the village police station. About 2-3 thousand rioters had damaged public property, including a police vehicle.

Three people died in police firing. More than 300 people were arrested and interrogated by police.

The case also led to a scuffle between the administration and opposition leaders. Against this backdrop, the state government, which took the case seriously, handed over the investigation to the IT police.

Thus, the police, who are leading a serious investigation, is being investigated in many dimensions. Also, many prominent people have already been prosecuted.
