Confirmation of firing by Ashish Mishra Monu and Ankit Das during violence in Lakhimpur Kheri.

Supreme Court expressed displeasure over the progress of the investigation in the case of the death of eight people, including four farmers, in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence after the riots on October 3.

The report of the forensic lab has also come in the midst of the Supreme Court Hearing.

In this report, the main accused of the case, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra Monu and Monu’s friend have been confirmed to have been fired during the violence.

In the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, the Forensic Lab (FSL) report has confirmed the firing from licensed arms.

During the disturbance, Ashish Mishra’s rifle and revolver and Ankit Das’s repeater gun and pistol were fired. Ashish and Ankit are currently lodged in Lakhimpur Kheri District Jail.

ASP Arun Kumar Singh said that the reports of the evidence related to the case, which was sent to the lab for investigation, have started coming.

In the Lakhimpur violence case, the ballistic report of the licensed weapons of Ashish Mishra Monu and his close friend Ankit Das has confirmed the firing.

It is clear from this that after the riots in Tikunia of Lakhimpur Kheri, there was also firing with licensed weapons during the violence.

The families of the farmers who died in the violence had demanded an inquiry into the firing.

After this, the crime branch of Lakhimpur Kheri police confiscated Ankit Das’s repeater gun and pistol and Ashish Mishra’s rifle and revolver.

After this, the FSL report was sought by sending these four weapons to the lab for examination. The firing has been confirmed in the report received on Tuesday.

Important links have started being added in the investigation of the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. Two cases were registered in this case.

The first case was registered on behalf of the farmers against 20 unknown people including Ashish Mishra Monu, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni.

The second case was filed by BJP worker Sumit Jaiswal Modi against unknown people.

In the first case, the investigating agency SIT has arrested a total of 13 people, including the main accused Ashish Mishra Monu and his friend Lucknow-based contractor Ankit Das.

Four people have been arrested in the second case. All these 17 accused are lodged in jail.

Important hearing in court on November 15.

The investigation of the Lakhimpur Kheri case is progressing rapidly.

In the case, on November 15, the district judge’s court will hear the bail application of three other accused, including the main accused in the case, Ashish Mishra Monu.

Along with this, the court has also summoned the complete case diary of both the cases registered in the Lakhimpur Kheri case on November 15.

The SIT, which is probing the matter regarding this, is busy making the case diary. So far, statements of 92 witnesses have also been recorded before the magistrate by the SIT in the Lakhimpur Kheri case.

On the basis of the statements of the witnesses in the case and the available video evidence, the police identified the accused.

Hearing on police custody remand of Ranjit and Avtar today.

SIT filed an application in CJM court for seven days police custody remand for interrogation and collection of evidence from two accused of the other side related to the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case.

Ranjit Singh, resident of Bichola Farm of police station Singhahi, and Avtar Singh, resident of Naugawan Farm of Singhahi.

A copy of the police custody remand application was received by his advocate Shashank Yadav. Both the accused were presented in the court of ACJM for a hearing on police custody remand.

During the hearing on Monday, SPO SP Yadav from the prosecution and advocates of the accused were present in the court. The counsel for the accused pleaded for time for arguments.

ACJM Chhavi Kumari has fixed Tuesday, November 9, for a hearing on the police custody remand of both the accused. Both the accused have been summoned from jail.

Confirmation of firing by Ashish Mishra: Recorded statements of four more witnesses.

On Monday, the statements of four more witnesses were recorded by the judicial magistrate.

After the order of the SC, the investigator started the exercise of recording the statements of the witnesses under 164 CrPC in the understanding of the magistrate in both the Lakhimpur-Kheeri case.

On the first day, the statements of five witnesses were recorded in the incident.

Earlier on October 21, the statements of four witnesses, on October 22 the statements of 12 witnesses, on October 25 the statements of seven witnesses were recorded.

On October 26, the statements of three witnesses were recorded before the magistrate. On October 27, statements of a dozen witnesses were recorded.

On October 28, the statements of eight witnesses were recorded. On October 29, statements of 19 witnesses were recorded. On October 30, statements of five witnesses were recorded.

The statements of four were recorded on November 1. A statement was recorded on November 2.

On November 3, statements of eight more witnesses were recorded. So far the statements of 92 witnesses have been recorded before the magistrate.
