Earlier on Wednesday, security forces were informed about the hideout of terrorists in Marvel village of Kakapora, Pulwama. After this, the security forces started a search operation in the area. Meanwhile, the terrorists started firing on the security forces.

According to the information, earlier on Tuesday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police busted a gang of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist organization. Police had received information that an organization of three youths from Kashmir was in contact with Pakistani terrorists.

The three youths of the organization were identified as Arshid Ahmed Khan, resident of Gutli Bagh, Majid Rasul, resident of Ganderbal, and Mohammad Asif Nazar. All three were in contact with Pakistani terrorist Fayaz Khan. He used to instruct them to carry out terrorist activities in the area.
