Four Overground Workers Of Hizbul Mujahideen Arrested By Police

Four overground workers of Hizbul Mujahideen were caught by police, arrested in Kishtwar.

Four overground workers (OGW) of the terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen were arrested on Wednesday.

Two UBGL grenades, 120 AK 47, two AK 47 magazines, posters of terrorist organizations,s, etc. have been recovered from these terrorists caught in Kishtwar.

It is noteworthy that for the last few days, the security forces have started tightening the noose on the overground workers who are working as eyes and ears for the terrorist organizations operating in Kashmir.

The process of identification and arrest of these overground workers, who are providing necessary and important information to the terrorists by staying among the common people, has been expedited.

Under this campaign, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) is raiding different areas of Kashmir and arresting the overground workers.

Two OGWs of Lashkar were arrested in Baramulla.

A day earlier on Tuesday, police arrested two overground workers of TRF, a wing of Lashkar-e-Taiba, in the Baramulla district of North Kashmir.

Giving information in this regard, the police said that after getting specific information through reliable sources.

The Baramulla Police team reached Khachadari Jahanpora with a joint team of Army’s 46 RR, 2nd Battalion SSB, and 53 Battalion CRPF.

They had received information that some terrorists were trying to damage the law and order in the area.

Some overground workers operating in the area have been entrusted with the responsibility of delivering arms and ammunition to the terrorists.

Srinagar: Magistrate and SSP raid the places of drug smugglers in Srinagar, shops sealed – many arrested.

District Magistrate Mohammad Ejaz Asad and District SSP Rakesh Balwal himself were seen commanding the Mission Wapsi campaign to make Srinagar free from drugs.

They raided various areas in the city, known as the hideouts of drug addicts.

During this, taking legal action against the shopkeepers involved in selling banned drugs and narcotics, their shops were also sealed.

District Magistrate Mohammad Ejaz Asad and District SSP Rakesh Balwal raided many areas of the city including Zero Bridge, Rajbagh.

They caught many youths taking drugs at these places. Some of these were sent to drug de-addiction centers. Also raided some shops.
