France Supported India On The Kashmir Issue

France supported India on the Kashmir issue, said –  not let any game of China to succeed. France has openly supported India on the Kashmir issue.

The French President’s adviser says France has been supportive of India on the Kashmir issue and has not allowed China to play any ‘procedural game’ in the UN Security Council (UNSC). Earlier, the US has also supported India on the issue of China and Kashmir.

Emmanuel Bon, the diplomatic adviser to French President Emmanuel Macron, visited India for a strategic annual dialogue between France and India.

He said, “When China breaks the rules, we have to be very strong and very clear. This is the reason for our Navy’s presence in the Indian Ocean.

France is close to the Quad

In his address on the topic ‘France and India: partners in a stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific’ organized by the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF).

He said that France is closer to the Quad (a group of US, Japan, Australia, and India) and in the future Can do some naval exercises as well.

French Navy not to patrol Taiwan for a spade.

Referring to the French navy being the only European navy to patrol in Taiwan, he said this was not to provoke but to emphasize the need to follow international regulations.

Bone said, ‘We don’t have to confront and escalate and I think it is easier to say than Paris than Delhi, that too when you have a problem in the Himalayan region and your border is with Pakistan.

China will not play any game

He said, ‘We have always been very clear about the direct threat to India. Whether it is Kashmir, we have been a strong supporter of India in the Security Council, we did not let China play any kind of procedural game.

When it comes to the Himalayan regions, you should check our statements, we have been completely clear. There is no ambiguity in what we say publicly. ‘

Speaking of his talks with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Bone said there were discussions on strategic opportunities as well as bilateral defense and security relations.

He said that military cooperation and the Indian Ocean issue were also discussed.
