Grenade attack at BJP Mandal President’s house in Rajouri, child killed and six injured: Rajouri Grenade Attack.
Just two days before Independence Day, terrorists hurled a grenade at the house of BJP’s Mandal President Jasbir Singh in the Khandli Pul area of Rajouri city on Thursday night.
Jasbir Singh’s three-year-old nephew was killed and six other family members including his parents were badly injured in the attack.
All the injured have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital, Rajouri.
After this incident, a search operation has been started by cordoning off the entire area in search of the terrorists who escaped.
High officials of police and army are present at the spot till late at night. At the same time, there was a huge crowd of people in the hospital.
According to the information, Jasbir Singh’s family was sitting in the courtyard of the house at around 9:30 pm.
During this, the terrorists threw a grenade by climbing on the roof of the house, which exploded with a loud bang. The whole family came under the grip of this explosion.
At first, the people around understood that there had been an explosion in the cylinder in the house, but the situation became clear in no time.
Nearby people took seven injured to Rajouri Hospital. Where a three-year-old child died during treatment.
At the same time, after getting information about the explosion, officers and jawans of the army and police reached the spot.
It is said that the lever of the grenade was also recovered from the crime scene. Till late night no trace of terrorists was found. Security has been beefed up throughout the city.

Four brothers and father, including Jasbir, are retired from the army and have been raising the voice of society and patriotism for a long time.
After the retirement of Jasbir Singh Sena, he was associated with Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, and then joined BJP.
Jasbir also contested the election of ward members of the city council from the area.

VDC members also fired three to four rounds in the air after three to four suspects were sighted in the same area five days ago. After this, a search operation was also carried out, but there was no success.

The three-year-old child killed in the grenade attack is Veer Singh’s son Balveer Singh.
The injured include Jasbir Singh’s son Romesh Singh, Arjun Singh’s son Kulbir Singh, Siya Devi’s wife, Romesh Singh.
