High level meeting on the issue of Afghanistan, attention was paid to the latest situation in Kabul.

A high-level meeting was held on Tuesday on the issue of Afghanistan on the guidelines of PM Modi.

Sources have been told that apart from the External Affairs Minister, the National Security Advisor and other senior officials have attended this meeting.

This meeting was to decide the priority of India in the changed situation there. According to the agency, the meeting of this group is going on continuously for the last few days.

The issues discussed in this meeting included the safe return of Indian citizens and Hindus and Sikhs settled there and not allowing the soil of Afghanistan to be used against India under any circumstances.

During the meeting, this group took stock of the latest situation in Afghanistan and the statements that have come out so far from the international world in this regard were looked at.

This included the resolution passed on Afghanistan in the United Nations Security Council.

Let us tell you that India has brought 800 people safely to India from Afghanistan. Apart from Indian citizens, these include Hindus and Sikhs settled there.

Things have changed a lot after the complete withdrawal of US forces from Kabul. Taliban terrorists have now captured Kabul airport.

At present, there is confusion regarding the movement of aircraft from here. Till now, planes were being operated from here with the help of NATO forces. But now it can be a problem.

After a two-decade-long war in Afghanistan, the US forces withdrew completely on August 31. General Frank McKenzie said that the US managed to get about 1,23,000 civilians out of Afghanistan.

After the withdrawal of American troops, there is an atmosphere of celebration among the pro-Taliban forces.

Meanwhile, the Taliban said on Tuesday that the US defeat in Afghanistan is a lesson for other aggressors and our future generations.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said on the airport’s runway shortly after the last US plane took off from Kabul, saying it was also a lesson for the world.

A Taliban spokesman said, “Congratulations to Afghanistan on this victory.” He said that this victory belongs to all of us.
