Humans Will Be Able To Talk To Animals With Artificial Technology

Humans will be able to talk to animals with artificial technology, scientists are recognizing the voices of elephants.

Some time ago the scientific community laughed at the fact that animals could have their own languages.

However, today researchers around the world are using state-of-the-art technology to listen to animal conversations and communicate with them.

In her new book The Sounds of Life, University of British Columbia Professor Karen Bakker outlines some of the most important experiments in animal and plant communication.

Bakker explains “How Digital Technology is Bringing Us Closer to the Worlds of Animals and Plants”.

Bakker, director of the UBC Institute for Resources, Environment, and Sustainability, explains that digital listening posts are now being used to record the sound of eco-systems around the planet, from the rain forest to the bottom of the ocean.

Professor Karen Bakker says digital technology is often linked to our disconnection from nature, providing us with the opportunity to better listen to nonhumans and reviving our connection to nature.

Control the bees.

She cites a team of German researchers who have taught tiny robots to do the honeybee waggle dance.

Using these dancing machines, scientists can command bees to stop moving and tell them where to fly to collect specific nectar.

She said that with the help of this technology, humans will be able to talk to animals and also control them.

Elephants make infrasound signals.

Bakker also tells about bioacoustics scientist Katie Payne and her research on elephant communication, that Katie Payne first found that elephants make infrasound signals, which humans cannot hear.

Elephants can send messages over long distances through soil and stones. Scientists then discovered that elephants have different signals for bees and humans.

Scientists are recognizing the sound of elephants.

According to Karen Bakker, scientists are recognizing the low-frequency sounds of elephants with the help of artificial intelligence. Also, they are able to understand the wavering of bees.

According to Prof. Backer, with the help of this technology, humans will be able to talk to animals and also control them.

AI technology that talks to animals can be used in robots in the future. This will make communication possible between the two species.

This can prove to be a great success. Although some doubts still remain. Pro Backer says that this technique also has some potential disadvantages.

Mention of Coral Reefs.

Coral reefs have also been mentioned in Bakr’s book. She explains that a healthy coral reef can make sounds like an underwater symphony.

If you can hear in ultrasonic, you can only hear in coral. Using artificial intelligence, scientists can re-populate certain areas by making sounds of healthy coral reefs.
