Independence Day 2021: Terrorists can attack with drones in Delhi, increased security and Section 144 also applied.

Terrorists can attack with drones in the capital of Delhi before August 15.

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued an alert to the Delhi Police asking them to remain vigilant, after which the police have increased the security.

It has been said in the alert that since the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists are planning to attack Delhi.

Independence Day 2021: Anti-social elements, terrorists can use drones, paragliders to threaten the general public, dignitaries, and important installations.

They can also attempt strikes using hang gliders, microlight aircraft, hot air balloons, and even para jumping.

After the alert, Commissioner of Police Balaji Srivastava has banned the flights of all the above air platforms by imposing Section 144 in the whole of Delhi.

Triangular security system

On the occasion of Independence Day, the police will keep a 360-degree watch from the drone.

For this, everyone will be monitored through a triangular security system as well as drones equipped with state-of-the-art cameras.

Anita Rai, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Northern District, says that policemen are being trained to deal with any situation.

This training program is being conducted with the Air Force, National Security Guard (NSG), Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).

He said that the deployment of policemen in the Red Fort for security checks has been there for two months. An internal investigation is being done near the Chandni Chowk area and inside Red Fort.

The Delhi Police is in constant touch with the Special Cell and the Intelligence Bureau regarding the security of the Red Fort.

This time a triangular arrangement has been made for security, in which all the routes leading to the Red Fort and the areas around the Red Fort will be barricaded along the major borders of Delhi.

Barricading will remain till late evening even after the program organized on Independence Day is over.
