Ministry Of Defense Replied To Rahul Gandhi’s Accusations

Ministry of Defense replied to Rahul’s accusations, the finger is not only four, but the Indian territory also up to finger eight.

The government has made it clear that India has not handed over any of its lands to the neighboring country in the agreement with China for the withdrawal of troops from the Pangong Lake area.

The Defense Ministry said that the Indian territory is not only up to finger four, but according to the map of India, the finger is up to eight.

Taking a dig at those who questioned the agreement, the Defense Ministry also said that the national interest and territory in East Ladakh has been effectively protected because the government has expressed full confidence in the capability of our forces.

Insulting the brave soldiers of the country

The Ministry of Defense also said that those who are raising questions on this achievement achieved through the sacrifice of our military forces are insulting these soldiers.

Hours after Rahul Gandhi’s press conference, the Defense Ministry released an official statement and clarified the facts.

Defense Minister also gave the answer

Without naming the Congress leader, the Defense Ministry said that some misleading and misleading statements have come to light on the agreement on the withdrawal of troops in the Pangong Lake area.

In view of this, the Ministry of Defense is again reiterating that the position of facts related to the agreement was fully clarified by the Defense Minister in both the Houses of Parliament.

India continues on the trend of patrolling till finger eight

After this, the Defense Ministry said on Rahul’s statement of having Indian territory till Finger 4, this statement is completely wrong.

The map of India also includes the area of 43,000 square kilometers which has been under the illegal occupation of China since 1962.

Even from India’s point of view, the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is up to finger eight, not finger four.

The Ministry of Defense said that India has maintained its stand of right to petrol till Finger Eight and this has been our position in the current agreement with China.

Deployment of troops to permanent posts will continue

On Rahul Gandhi’s questions about the limited number of Indian soldiers in the agreement, the Defense Ministry also clarified the picture.

Saying that the permanent posts on both sides of the northern shore of Pangong Lake are old and established. On the Indian side, there is Paddy Singh Thapa post close to Finger 3 and on the east side near Gar8 towards China.

Deployment of soldiers will continue

Under the latest agreement, the two sides will withdraw from deployment on the front and troops will continue to be deployed at these permanent posts.

India has not given any territory to this agreement. On the contrary, we have stopped attempts to unilaterally change the status quo by forcing China to abide by LAC’s dignity.

These areas are yet to be resolved

On Rahul’s questions about the presence of Chinese troops in the Depsang, Gogra, and Hot Spring areas, the Defense Ministry said that the Defense Minister had made it clear in his Parliament statement that the dispute related to these areas was yet to be resolved.

Negotiations will be held to resolve the remaining issues within 48 hours of the withdrawal of troops from the Pangong Lake areas.
